Maverick Mura is an artist from Los Angeles and currently based in New York. Growing up he was exposed to street art and painting through his home city and the internet. His work addresses love, sentimentality, mental health and nihilism. Through an emotive and hand-heavy painting style, he aims to construct emotional homes for the viewer, moments of comfort, quietude, and solidarity amidst alienation.
